Synthetic material is very soft and comfortable. Great for indoor or outdoor use. Only design feedback would be the seat portion could use some engineering. When you sit with your back against the back rest, you are sitting on the wooden cross piece with your tailbone, not the synthetic cushion area. To sit right on the most comfortable area of the seat, you will be slouching.
